Role Name: Emotional Health & Wellbeing Mindfulness Worker Hours: 3.5 days per week Salary: Early Break Pay Scale 9-11 £23,620 - £25,379 (pro rata) Closing Date: Monday 27th January 2025 at 12:00pm Interview Date: 5th & 6th February 2025 Role involves delivering effective brief intervention support to young people experiencing mental health crises at the HMR (Rochdale Borough) Safe Zone service and providing 1:1 emotional health and wellbeing support in community and education settings. Key Deliverables: Offer individualized support to young people with emotional health and wellbeing needs, including advice, signposting, and support to access services. Perform 'meet and greet' duties in safe zones, providing care and crisis intervention, delivering therapeutic support in line with the Greater Manchester mental health crisis pathway. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. Engage in partnership-led mental health provision, formulating and implementing intervention plans with young people and partners. Deliver de-escalation and resilience building, integrated support to children and young people. Encourage young people to embrace safety messages regarding risk-taking behavior using a trauma-informed approach. Plan and deliver educational sessions and group work in response to community needs. Adhere to safeguarding policies, identifying and referring issues as necessary. Collaborate with partners to ensure seamless support access for young people. Maintain knowledge of relevant issues affecting young people through continued learning. Complete necessary administration and maintain database records. Potentially work outside standard hours to meet young people's needs, including evenings and weekends. Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the role and service. Implement Service Health and Safety Policies, including risk assessments. Attend relevant internal and external meetings. Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
