Equipment Asset Administrator
8 Month Fixed Term Contract
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE:
The division is planning to deploy up to 10,000 new assets across the country which are to be identified, logged, and accounted for. The role of the Asset Administrator is to support the technical team to create, manage, and maintain the new asset database. Acting as a coordination point between the AIC, Technical team, operational management, suppliers, and project management team members to ensure all data is recorded, stored, and is correct for newly installed and existing assets.
Experience with creating and working with CAFM / asset management systems, databases, and logistical support is critical. This role will be a hybrid role with home-based and office-based work; however, regular travel to the division hub in Tewkesbury will be required, thus a driving license is required for this position. Residing within a commutable distance of Tewkesbury is preferred.
The position requires the candidate to be flexible around the demands and requirements of the relevant projects, which may include occasional evening and weekend working. A positive and flexible attitude to teamwork and a willingness to learn and get involved is critical as the SPRA will need to support the team members and other workstreams as required with tasks and deliverables of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Align with project and operations teams
* Track the deployment of asset dispatch and installations
* Make changes/updates to the Asset Database
* Ensure the Asset Database is correct & kept up to date
* Work with Management & Operations to ensure the smooth delivery of service.
* Process and coordinate management information of systems data.
* Ensure assets are handed over to BAU operations in a controlled manner.
* Ensure CAFM systems are kept up to date as required.
* Handle customer and operational MI and reporting
* Support the technical team with the building and deployment of assets
* Assist the operations teams with queries on devices.
