Due to increased hours at our Willow Court Branch and a current Care Worker going on Maternity leave we are looking for 2 new members of staff. About the Role: Care Workers really make a difference to the lives of our service users, offering a highly personal service you will be helping to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own home, by providing the best standards of care and support. Willow Court is based in one location, and houses 60 independent flats, so a driving license is not required for this role. Hours of work will be 7am - 2pm or 2pn - 10pm. Ideally, we are looking for 2 people who are able to fill 25hrs a week but more could be offered for the right person. These shifts will be allocated on a 2 week rolling rota, allowing you the option to plan ahead. You will be required to: Assist with all elements of personal care, to ensure service users are supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead; washing, dressing, support with administering medication Assisting service users with preparing meals and shopping trips to the local supermarket Light household chores around the flats Offering companionship and helping build service users confidence and independence All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship. Role Criteria: Successful candidates must be willing to work alternate weekends No previous experience is required, full training will be provided.
