The Role
We are recruiting for a client seeking an experienced Digital Trading Executive to join their growing team within the FMCG sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about digital trading and merchandising who is looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Digital Trading Manager, you will play a key role in supporting trading and merchandising activities across the eCommerce site. Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring a high standard of customer journey and experience.
2. Optimising product listings and categories.
3. Managing promotions and seasonal sales campaigns.
4. Analysing metrics and data to drive continuous growth and optimisation of eCommerce performance.
5. This role requires someone with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in trading/merchandising, as you will need to hit the ground running and confidently manage your responsibilities.
Location & Salary
This position is based in the South-West, requiring office attendance at least once per week. The salary offered is up to £35,000, depending on experience.
Skills and Experience Required
1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital trading/merchandising role, ideally within the retail sector.
2. Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WordPress.
3. A strong understanding of UX/UI improvement principles.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with wider teams.
5. Knowledge of marketplaces is desirable but not essential.
