Director Property Management - London (Flexible/hybrid working)
Salary:£85,000 + benefits package
As part of exciting growth, our client is looking for diligent professionals to join their existing team. They are looking for individuals who can deliver ambitious standards of Property Management advice and service to a variety of clients, including leading lending institutions and large public sector organisations.
The Property Management team has circa 35 staff including surveyors, facilities managers and accountants. Property management is represented out of London, Leeds, and Bristol, and the team services instructions across all of the United Kingdom.
The successful individuals will need to demonstrate a desire to deliver excellent service alongside a capability to grow their own property management portfolio. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong inter-personal skills and the capability to develop client relationships.
Specific Duties
1. Managing key assets on behalf of diverse clients, working as part of a wider team in delivering client expectations.
2. To grow instructions in the London/Southeast markets and develop close relationships with the property management team and broader disciplines.
3. Liaising and collaborating closely with accountants, other surveyors, and facilities managers on all property matters.
4. Preparing client reports, attending client and tenant meetings, and logging and generating tasks on MRI Horizon & Meridian Software/E-Log books.
5. Liaising with various stakeholders including contractors and site-based staff, dealing with tenant applications and insurance claims.
6. Signing off charge raising reports for rent, service charge, insurance, and utility sums. Coding/approving supplier invoices and leading in the service charge budget process and annual reconciliation.
7. Working as part of the national property management team and assisting with other instructions geographically as necessary.
8. Overseeing personnel within the existing London team, managing people as necessary.
Qualifications/Experience
1. Experience with a variety of property types, effective communication and client liaison skills.
2. Practical understanding of commercial property and surveying procedures.
3. Strong verbal & numerical skills, report writing, and accountancy principles.
4. Ability to work under pressure, manage time and assist the team in meeting deadlines.
5. Knowledge of working platforms MRI/Meridian/E-Logs desirable but not essential.
6. Previous experience of managing personnel desirable.
