A long established, customer focussed legal practice, based in beautiful offices in Reading Town Centre. It's a growing, multi-disciplined practice with an enviable reputation. The Role: The purpose of the role is to lead on Private Client Law (including Wills, Trusts, Probate including professional executorships), estate planning, LPAs and Deputyships) work across the Group and to manage the Private Client team in Reading and across other Group locations. The role will involve working with the Group Managing Director, Marketing and New Business teams to generate and convert work opportunities. The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring work is performed across the Private Client Sector of the Group efficiently and effectively using systems. Part of the role is to ensure that operational systems and procedures are developed appropriately and documented and that technical and operational Sector best practice is developed and embedded across the Private Client team in Reading and at other Group locations. It is anticipated that the role holder will have a caseload of files as well as carrying out these functions. Additionally working with other group businesses where Private Client is part of the plan. You will be required to attend other offices within the Group. Responsibilities include: Team Leadership and Management Strategic Planning and Execution Client Relationship Management Financial Management Risk Management and Compliance Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Qualified Solicitor with significant and relevant post qualification experience in Private Client. Proven track record of successfully handling complex Private Client matters. Significant experience of working in Private Client at a senior level. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communications skills - written and verbal; Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities. Ability to influence motivate and engage business leaders; Significant practical knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and procedures.
