We have a new role available for an expanding company who has an excellent reputation within their industry. The role is for an experienced Finance Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining and managing the financial transactions within the company. This is an opportunity to work for a fantastic company where you will be part of a family-orientated team and report to the Finance Manager.
Job Description for the Finance Administrator:
1. Forecast using Excel from aged creditors and payment notices
2. Oversee the Purchase Ledger transactions and manage aged creditors in Sage
3. Monitor cashflow
4. Support the Commercial Team with job costings and allocating expenses for projects
5. Prepare and issue Sales Invoices from payment notices and applications
6. Monitor accounts receivables and follow up on overdue payments
7. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
8. Support with amendments to HR policies and contracts using Sage HR
9. Collate information to process monthly payroll
10. Support with Audits
11. Deal with discrepancies/disputes
12. Assist with VAT
13. Support with the accounting for their sister companies
Requirements for the Finance Administrator:
1. Must have an AAT qualification or degree in Accounting
2. Minimum of 6 years in bookkeeping
3. Familiarity with financial regulations and basic accounting principles
4. Experience using Sage
5. Proficient Excel skills
6. Strong analytical skills and high levels of accuracy
7. Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
8. Excellent problem-solving skills
Hours: Monday Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 Per Annum
