The Client:
We, Rullion have partnered with a global distributor of electromechanical products that has been established for over 60 years, they are a leader in the field who are going through a huge growth phase and investing in new technology and solutions allowing them to enter markets across the UK, EMEA and MENA.
Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
Summary of the Role:
Looking for an Internal Sales and Support Engineer to be based out of the company's HQ, assisting customers with a solution-led sell, listening and understanding what the customers need and suggesting best-fit products to match their requirements or project specifications.

Salary: £30,000 - £42,000pa depending on experience

The Person -
Ideally, we are looking for someone with familiarity with either selling or installing electromechanical products such as as contactors, relays, circuit breakers, and switch disconnectors. Must have experience/knowledge of Switchgear/controls etc
You could have either worked for a distributor or manufacturer in the past or perhaps an electrician looking to transition off the tools into a desk-based role.
Although we are hiring based on potential below are some criteria we are ideally looking for;
* A good knowledge of electrical principles or electrical theory, ideally educated in these but not necessary if you can show hands-on competency.
* Understanding of the control and switchgear industry
* Experience with a solution-led sale in a technical support or sales role
* Willingness to learn, and to want to develop to progress your career
Your day-to-day activities will consist of:
* Providing information and advice on their varied product range offering solutions to customer technical requirements.
* Understanding and interpreting customer requests for product advice showing an ability to take the key information to provide solutions to their needs.
* Having the knowledge to offer options for obsolete parts to franchised and non-franchised brands.
* Providing support with advice and solutions to the internal and external sales teams and staff.
* Compile quotations quickly and precisely
* Working with key suppliers
* Use your knowledge of our extensive stock to provide fast-of-the-shelf solutions to customer requirements.
