Job Title: Fire & Building Safety Surveyor
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Rate: £30.48 PAYE and £39.42 UMBRELLA
Term: 6 months
Are you passionate about fire safety and building compliance? Join our team as a Fire & Building Safety Surveyor! We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to oversee fire risk assessments for our properties, ensuring the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed fire and building safety surveys, contributing to a comprehensive property database.
2. Provide expert advice on property condition, identifying and resolving fire safety issues.
3. Prepare detailed specifications and feasibility studies for necessary works.
4. Liaise with fire authorities to ensure compliance and timely action on deficiencies.
5. Maintain effective communication with staff, residents, and stakeholders, ensuring top-notch customer service.
Essential Skills:
1. NEBOSH fire qualification or equivalent.
2. RICS accredited degree plus a postgraduate surveying qualification.
3. Proven experience as a fire/building surveyor in a maintenance environment.
4. Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, and the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
