What you can expect as a Workshop Controller:
1. Full time/Permanent
2. Monday - Friday - 8am-5:30pm
3. £30,000 - £40,000 (experience dependent)

The Role of a Workshop Controller:
1. Lead, manage and motivate a team of qualified and apprentice technicians
2. Allocate work orders to technicians, and manage technician clocking on/off
3. Ensure workshop operations meet brand standards for quality by conducting regular quality checks on completed works
4. Drive service profitability by ensuring maximum time save and upsell
5. Manage and update workshop CRM/Computer Systems
6. Provide outstanding customer service to customers both face to face and by phone in the instance you have to deal with a customer complaint
7. Assist and work closely with the estimating & parts team as required
8. Booking customers in and arranging their vehicle collections and returns
9. Liaising with our drivers and managing the transport diary
10. Ensuring daily KPI targets are achieved
11. Moving vehicles on the forecourt
12. Creating job packs and associated admin
13. Answering and making phone calls
What we're looking for:
1. Well-developed management and leadership skills
2. In depth knowledge of contemporary Bodyshop systems, technology, and operating processes
3. The ability to exceed targets and deadlines is a must.
