The role as a Managing Director includes the development and implementation of the business plan working with the local team and delivery of insolvency and restructuring assignments. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of: driving high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations delivering quality work product and a high level of client service; driving business and practice development; establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients; promoting an insolvency/ restructuring firm and sourcing new work; managing an office and leading a team of professional staff and providing supervision and training; and participating in and leading global business initiatives. The candidate will have the following attributes: a minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience, including insolvency, restructuring and associated investigations; a Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, business administration or finance; proven track record of business development; highly motivated with a good business sense and commercial acumen; strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; strong people management skills; and excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
