About the Church Lane Surgery Church Lane Surgery is run by HCRG Care Group on behalf of NHS England. We provide patients with access to high-quality healthcare in Braintree. Church Lane Surgery was previously called St Lawrence Surgery until its move from the practice at Bocking End to Church Lane College in March 2017.

Main duties of the job
This post will be solely based at Church Lane Surgery.
* Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice.
* Experience of working autonomously in a healthcare role (Primary or Secondary care).
* Knowledge of local and national healthcare agendas/strategy and policies and how they relate to the specific service.
* Understand the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities and accountability regarding advanced level, autonomous practice.
* Understand the impact of advanced practice roles on service delivery and their contribution to the multi-professional team.
* Medication reviews.
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with external partners.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential
* Regulated Health Care professional with current registration.
* Relevant Masters level modules including Advanced Clinical Assessment & Management and Consultation Skills (or equivalent skills and experience).
* Registered as a non-medical prescriber with the relevant regulator or have access to PGD (V300).
* Experience of treating minor injury and minor illness.
Desirable
* Leadership modules/experience.
* Paediatric experience with the ability to recognize the sick child.
* Long term conditions.
