Tanker Driver (HGV) Wellington - Commutable Distance Permanent - 40 Hours Competitive salary Shift into high gear with a career that matters Join us as a HGV Tanker Driver in the wastewater industry, where your skills keep the flow moving smoothly, steer us towards a cleaner future and help enhance wastewater infrastructure Purpose of the Role You will be driving tankers and other HGV vehicles to facilitate our customer's disposal needs, as well as assisting other areas of the business as part of a team on larger projects. Please note you will be required to report to site each morning and end of day to collect/drop off your vehicle so must be located with in a commutable distance of our site in Wellington, Somerset. What You'll Need to Bring Must hold full Class C UK Driving Licence as a minimum. Work on the Public Highway Street works (NRSWA) - desirable. CSCS - desirable. Water Jetting Association (high pressure water jetting) - desirable. Confined Space Entry - desirable. Undertake training as instructed by the company (street works, water jetting association, etc.) What You'll Be Doing Operation of tanker and/or HGV Assist cleaning/maintenance teams Working with vactors/operating the boom Working in confined spaces Work as part of a team. Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device. Conduct work in line with company health and safety policy and procedures. Completing driver's hours books and vehicle checks (defect books). General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment. Working away may be required.
