The post holder will when required supervise more inexperienced members of staff. The nature of the job may require the post holder to travel off -site, often with equipment. Unlike ward based roles the OH service does not have a defined capacity such as numbers of beds therefore there is a requirement to be able to respond in a timely and effective manner to sudden increases in activity.
