Main duties of the job We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated person who enjoys working as part of a team. This is an opportunity to join the Waterlooville Community Care Team as a Patient Support Administrator. You must have excellent communication and IT skills commensurate with this role. The position is based at Wellington Gate, Waterlooville but travel may be required to cover other sites. The role is part time for 30 hours a week and the needs of the service would require the successful applicant to cover these hours over 4 days, 8.30am to 5pm, including Wednesday and Friday You will be responsible for day to day administration tasks such as managing referrals, booking appointments, making and receiving telephone calls, ordering supplies and all other administrative duties as required by the service We are looking for someone who likes to be busy; works well in a team and is able to communicate well with staff and members of the public. You will be an effective and experience administrator, comfortable with using your own initiative. As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within an NHS environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
