The Salesforce Lead Developer has leadership responsibilities and is accountable for driving developing and delivery complex Salesforce solutions, in collaboration with the rest of the development and test team. The Salesforce Lead Developer works with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the Salesforce strategy and architectural roadmap and ensures that the business and IT are in alignment.
Working in an agile scrum team, the SFTL will need to be comfortable working in agile methodologies, as the team practices Agile Scrum.
Core Duties:
Leading a Scrum team of developers and technical testers to deliver Salesforce solutions.
Reviewing Salesforce systems and code to see how it supports the business process and policy.
Presenting ideas for Salesforce system improvements.
Producing detailed technical specifications, developing proposed solutions and writing the programme code to develop the solution.
Maintaining Salesforce including general housekeeping, data cleanse, reduction of technical debt, bug fixes and configuration.
Finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business development or commercial problems
Describing the structure, characteristics, behaviour, of Salesforce to project stakeholders
Defining features, phases, and Salesforce solution requirements
Providing Salesforce specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered
Identifying data and security risks related to Salesforce and tributary systems.
Building employee skills and knowledge in Salesforce
Teaming up with business analysts to ensure Salesforce solutions meet the BD requirements
Knowledge:
Extensive hands on knowledge, experience of Salesforce declarative programming techniques and administrative features
Extensive hands on knowledge, experience of Salesforce coding language (APEX, Triggers, Batch Apex, LWC)
Experience in Datamodelling
Experience in managing CI/CD process
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, Sales Cloud and sales processes
Good understanding in Service Cloud is good to have Knowledge of Integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce is good to have
