As our Human Resources (HR) Administrator you will play a critical role in supporting the People department and wider team, managing various administrative duties related to employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in HR, prior HR experience is not essential and full mentoring and training will be included.
TechPoint comprises five brands: Vanilla Electronics, Bela Electronics, Golledge Electronics, Gemini Tec and Interconics, our 'Centres of Excellence', all experts in their individual fields. Location: Aldershot – travel to all of our sites will be required on an ad hoc basis.

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and support functions within the HR department. This includes managing employee records, leading recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and current employment legislation, and helping implement HR projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management:
* Maintain and update employee files and the HR system.
* Ensure that personnel records are accurate, complete, and filed appropriately.
* Track employee leave and attendance records.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
* Assist in posting job vacancies and sourcing candidates through various channels.
* Schedule interviews, administer pre-employment checks, and communicate with applicants.
* Coordinate and assist with the new hire onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions and completion of necessary paperwork.
* Share innovative ideas to increase our candidate attraction and ensure we are an employer of choice.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
* Support payroll processing.
* Assist employees with inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
* Help with the administration of benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, pension, bonus schemes).
Compliance and Documentation:
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.
* Assist with preparing reports for internal audits or compliance reviews.
* Support the preparation of HR-related documents, such as contracts, performance appraisals, and offboarding paperwork.
Employee Relations and Support:
* Serve as a point of contact for employees for general HR-related queries.
* Assist in resolving HR issues or conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
* Help organise employee training, development programs, and performance reviews.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs, such as employee engagement activities, health and wellness initiatives, or professional development projects.
* Support HR team in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
General Administrative Support:
* Assist HR management with daily tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.
* Maintain HR software and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Support the H&S department with general administration and tracking/organisation of training.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: Previous experience in an HR administrative role is desirable but not essential.
* Strong administration experience is essential.
* Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes, payroll systems, and employment laws is desirable.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience working with HR systems is desirable.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of accuracy in documentation.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.
