We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head of Learning & Performance who is a strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development and performance management initiatives to enhance employee skills, performance and engagement. This role focuses on aligning learning strategies with business goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the organisation remains competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape. Key Responsibilities Learning and Development Develop innovative learning strategies and training curricula to enhance service standards and employee engagement. Leverage cutting-edge learning technologies, including managing the organisations Learning Management System. Foster cross-departmental training and collaboration through tailored inter-property exposure programmes. Performance Management Oversee performance management systems to drive clarity, accountability, and motivation across the organisation. Collaborate with leaders to identify performance gaps and develop targeted interventions. Succession Planning Implement a robust succession planning framework to ensure continuity in leadership and service excellence. Identify high-potential talent and design personalised development plans for future leaders. Leadership Development Create and deliver leadership programmes to prepare team members for senior roles. Facilitate executive coaching and mentorship initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Partner with department heads to align learning programmes with business priorities and guest expectations. Manage relationships with external training vendors to deliver world-class learning solutions. Measurement and Improvement Establish metrics to assess the impact of L&D initiatives and refine strategies based on data-driven insights. Showcase the effectiveness of programmes through detailed reporting on employee engagement and guest satisfaction outcomes. Budget and Team Leadership Manage the learning and performance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Mentor and inspire the People & Culture team to foster a culture of excellence and innovation Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Organisational Development, Business Psychology, Human Resources or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in L&D with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within luxury hospitality (private membership club experience preferred). Proven track record of delivering impactful learning programmes in 5-star or ultra-luxury hospitality environments. Solid experience in designing and implementing effective L&D strategies to drive for performance and foster a learning culture; creating training curriculum and learning solutions according to business goals and company values; and facilitating employee engagement through innovative initiatives. Experience in working with global, multi-property organisations. Expertise in implementing digital and experiential learning tools.
