About The Role As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating learning environment, develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, and use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Your role will also involve assessing students’ progress, providing feedback, and supporting their academic and personal development. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum standards, ensuring that all students have access to a comprehensive and challenging education. Employ diverse instructional strategies, including hands-on activities, multimedia resources, and interactive discussions, to cater to different learning styles and keep students motivated and interested in the subject matter. Regularly evaluate students’ understanding and mastery of concepts through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to help them improve and succeed. Foster a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming, respectful, and conducive to learning, where all students feel valued and supported. Work closely with other teachers and staff to share best practices, develop interdisciplinary projects, and ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students. Provide additional support and guidance to students who may be struggling, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential both academically and personally. Keep detailed records of students’ progress, attendance, and behaviour, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurately reflects each student’s achievements and areas for improvement. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience as a Classroom Teacher or in a similar teaching role. Deep understanding of the national curriculum, including key concepts, skills, and assessment criteria. Ability to employ a range of teaching strategies that engage and inspire students, making complex concepts accessible and interesting. Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive relationships and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Passion for teaching and a commitment to igniting students’ curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
