Team Manager - ADHD Services (Remote working from home)
We are a specialist ADHD diagnosis and treatment clinic operating throughout the United Kingdom. We provide bespoke assessment and treatment packages aimed at helping patients reach their full potential. As a Team Manager, you will be expected to role model the behaviours and values of our organisation whilst demonstrating your clinical responsibilities and specialised skills as an ADHD Practitioner (small caseload). This requires you to be an independent/supplementary Prescriber, supporting patients throughout their treatment pathway which will include the triage, assessment, diagnosis, and where appropriate treatment of adults and/or children in the care of ADHD 360.
As a Team Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in leadership and management. You will support staff managing their caseload and oversee the efficiency of the services.
Main Duties of the Job
Working from home/remote carrying out patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans with a smaller caseload of patients to allow the role to lead and manage the teams.

Job Summary:
This role is multifaceted, requiring a balance of leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the delivery of high-quality care. As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a key role in coordinating and leading a group of dedicated clinicians, ensuring the effective functioning of the clinical team, the safe delivery of care, and excellent patient experience.
The postholder will be expected to role model the behaviours and values of our organisation while demonstrating your clinical responsibilities and specialised skills as an ADHD Practitioner. This requires you to be an independent/supplementary Prescriber, supporting patients throughout their treatment pathway which will include the triage, assessment, diagnosis, and where appropriate treatment of adults and/or children in the care of ADHD 360.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide strong leadership and management of the clinical team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
2. Responsible for the Line Management of the clinical team ensuring adherence to company policies, processes, and regulatory standards.
3. Support team members in relation to caseload management, clinical capacity, and planning of clinical delivery.
4. Hold productive, but challenging conversations, and follow formal processes where team members are not meeting quality standards or performance targets.
5. Manage informal resolutions to concerns/complaints received from patients and families.
6. Conduct regular team meetings at least monthly to share knowledge, cascade information, and address challenges.
7. Be the first point of contact for team members to report and record clinical incidents.
8. Complete a range of patient safety incident reviews and investigations.
9. Experience of overseeing and managing mental health risk and/or safeguarding concerns raised by your team.
10. Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead with the induction of all new staff within your team.
11. Ensure that all appraisals, annual leave requests, and sickness monitoring are up to date for your allocated team.
12. Take responsibility for own continuous professional development.
In addition to this role, the postholder is required to meet the requirements of the ADHD Practitioner Job description as outlined below:
1. Assess adults and/or children and young people for ADHD.
2. Practice as a non-medical prescriber to develop and implement treatment and titration plans.
3. Support the patient throughout their treatment journey, conducting regular follow-ups.
4. Perform patient risk assessments and review safeguarding needs.
5. Ensure that the prescription is written as per legal requirements.
6. Maintain accurate and timely client records.
7. Recognise and report clinical incidents and near misses.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified nurse, current UK registration and PIN with the NMC, Pharmacy Practitioner with GPhC registration, Medic on GMC Register without practice restrictions (Essential).
* Qualified Medical or Non-medical Prescriber (NMP) with current registration (Essential).
* Specialist ADHD Nurse/Pharmacist with experience (Desirable).
* Experience managing and supervising staff (Essential).
Demonstrable Skills:
* Ability to connect with and provide support for children and/or adults.
* Familiarity with EPR systems.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work alongside others within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
* Excellent time management and ability to manage own workload.
