About the role

We are looking for a Senior Programme Integration Manager to join our Infrastructure Monitoring (IM) team. This role will lead exciting programmes, ensuring the IM fleet and systems are ready for the future.
The Role
This role will lead NR's Infrastructure Monitoring programme which will transform the way we deliver Infrastructure Monitoring service. A diverse role that leads on customer engagement, business strategy, sustainability, research and innovation.
The role will:
1. Lead an exciting change programme, shaping the way Network Rail's IM service is delivered.
2. Deliver resilient and innovative strategies, embracing new technologies and market opportunities for intelligent procurement.
3. Develop interim solutions to support BAU performance and deliverables.
4. Work closely with NR's Digital Data and Technology teams supporting greater alignment between delivery and data.
5. Lead on stakeholder engagement and customer/supplier forums.
6. Maintain and enhance fleet and system availability.
7. Lead and inspire your team.
The role will report to the Delivery Director Infrastructure Monitoring in NR's Supply Chain Operations Directorate.
Essential
* Proven industry leader with extensive experience in the development and delivery of strategies and complex infrastructure programmes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience of dealing with large complex client portfolios and able to demonstrate significant commercial success.
* Strong knowledge of rail industry structure, regulation and commercial framework.
* Significant experience of negotiating with internal and external stakeholders at senior level to achieve project or company objectives.
* Proven experience of preparing and managing complex budgets, and knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
* Extensive experience in the use of rail industry technical, safety and performance standards including GRIP.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
Desirable
* Experience in the design and integration of complex engineering and/or operational systems.
* An understanding of railway safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.
* MBA or other related postgraduate qualification.
* Member of recognised Railway Engineering or Operations institution, or Chartered Engineer.
