This is a progressivetime for our cross site maternity services that provide maternity care for 9000 women per year. We are progressing our delivery of our 2024-2029 Maternity Strategy, which sees the commencement of a new digital Electronic Programme Record system in 2025 and, on our Luton site we prepare for our upcoming move into the brand new maternity facilities in the Autumn of 2025. Luton has a high level comprehensive service including an Obstetric physician, Fetal medicine Unit and a Level 3 NICU. They will hold overall responsibility of the day to day operational management of the service and should demonstrate adherence to the framework as set out within the Matrons Handbook (2021).
