Micro Precision are looking for a Shipping Administrator/Store Co-ordinator to join their diverse and dynamic team at their Laboratory in Kingswinford, West Midlands.
Responsibilities and Duties include
The Shipping Administrator/Store Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the day to day running of the business by assisting the team with shipping, receiving, dispatching and inspection tasks alongside administrative tasks.
Receiving equipment and instrumentation
1. Conducting initial inspection of goods received.
2. Cleaning and maintenance of shipping area and equipment.
3. Appropriately package equipment for transit.
4. Preparing goods for shipping and arranging shipments.
5. Co-ordinating pickups and deliveries.
6. Data entry for equipment and progressing works orders with members of the team.
7. Follow up directly with customer requests via phone and email.
Requirements
1. Valid Driver’s License preferable, but not essential.
2. Previous experience in shipping/receiving environment.
3. High level customer service skills and Customer orientated attitude.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
6. Demonstrates high level of attention to detail.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Use of carrier shipping software preferable.
