Exploring new ways to leverage the existing optimisation capabilities Developing the next suite of optimisation frameworks Working with clients to shape future work and grow business aims. Identifying problems and providing solutions in a timely manner To be a competent, active, engaged and willing member of the consulting and development team Keeping up to date with the developments and changes in the energy markets, to shape how the modelling frameworks changes with this What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for? Educated to degree level or equivalent experience with a numerical background Experienced in object-oriented programming - preferably in Python, C# is a bonus Working experience in optimisation, specifically mixed integer linear programming Confident working with large datasets Excellent communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical matters in non-technical language, both internally and to our clients Excellent analytical and logical thinking, with the ability to clearly communicate examples of work Comfortable working collaboratively within a team Have an enthusiasm for learning new skills on the job The salary is circa £45-55K. good benefits. hybrid 40%
