Location: Predominately Remote (with some visits to the London office) Sector: Insurance Job Type: Consultant ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Alchemy London Market is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to ensure that our client’s London Market digital processing services meet and exceed industry standards. In this role, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of the software products, working closely with our insurance client on a critical testing project. You will transform business scenarios into detailed test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive testing solutions. This role is vital for the successful delivery of end-to-end testing across the platform, with a strong focus on QA/Defect Testing, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES: Track business test scenarios for multiple execution cycles. Oversee daily test activities to maintain test deliverables. Produce and support QA activities during test execution (confirm test scenarios, assist with defect raising, handle queries). Provide required documentation and video content to demonstrate defects or scenarios. Ensure test scenarios are accurately maintained Ensure test results, replication steps for issues, and status updates are accurately captured Participate in key project meetings, including daily stand-ups, defect triage meetings, and lessons learned discussions. Engage with technical teams and business participants to gather feedback for testing artefacts. Provide support incorporated into test artefacts in a timely manner. Support the production of test artefacts aligned with the latest QA processes. Provide daily test status updates and reports for management information (MI) reporting. Work with the Test Lead to ensure Test Scenario status is updated Comprehensive test artefacts aligned with project requirements. Daily status reports, including updates on defect statuses, test completion, and open issues. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET Experience working within the Insurance/London Market. Proven experience in defects testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management. Proficiency in using Zephyr or similar test management tools for organising test cases, executing tests, and tracking test results. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
