Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure learning objectives are met Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with children is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Ability to engage and motivate students Effective classroom management skills Good organisational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working as a supply teacher Working Conditions: Work in various schools within the designated area Full-time hours with flexibility in scheduling Interact with students, teachers, and school staff on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
