Position
Hours: 32.5 hours a week - Monday - Friday (08:00-15:00)
We're currently looking for a passionate catering assistant to join us at our Academy in Bournemouth. In this pivotal role, you'll provide an effective, efficient, and flexible catering service to our learners and colleagues in our Engine Room cafeteria, providing a range of light meals and snacks.

Within this role, you'll be responsible for:
* Meeting and greeting all learners, colleagues, and visitors in the Engine Room and ensuring all needs are catered for
* Preparing both hot and cold food products
* Adhering to all hygiene and food preparation regulatory requirements, ensuring appropriate practices are followed
* Collecting daily order forms from colleagues, visitors, and learners and preparing orders as required
* Ordering goods-in and buffets from external suppliers as and when required
Requirements
What we need from you:
* Previous experience of working in a catering role
* Experience of working in a similar environment e.g., conference/business centre, training facility, hotel, or event venue
* Experience of kitchen risk assessments and fridge hygiene schedules
* Understanding of food ratings and FSA criteria to ensure compliance
