Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Social & Emotional Youth Worker to work in a thriving special needs school based in Hailsham and surrounding areas.
The students that attend the schools have either ASD, Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH), complex learning disabilities, or have been identified as having a statement of educational need or an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The schools pride themselves on being part of a supportive federation, aiming to support every child to develop their self-esteem, achieve appropriate and challenging personal targets, and develop an enthusiasm for learning to make the most of opportunities presented to them. All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge, and support each pupil, regardless of their individual needs.
The ideal candidate will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs, being fully able to adapt themselves to meet individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.

Location: Hailsham and surrounding areas
This school is part of an academy trust that supports children with Special Educational Needs in the East Sussex area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
