The Head of Partner Liaison and Planning is a senior leadership role that focuses on liaising with NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) research Delivery Organisations (organisations delivering RDN portfolio research) and other partners in the regional research delivery system. This role has oversight of the Regional RDN (RRDN) Study Support Service, which will be seamlessly integrated within the collective national Study Support Service. The Study Support Service is the cornerstone of RDN, facilitating the effective nationwide delivery of studies while enhancing strategic capacity and capability.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented Senior Manager to join the new NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) in the South West Peninsula. The role is an exciting opportunity to lead regionally and nationally to deliver a standardised study support service. You will be engaging, developing and maintaining productive, high-quality relationships with regional settings and specialty leads, commercial and non-commercial sponsors, and research delivery organisations to support effective delivery of research. The ability to establish trust and to work collaboratively and inclusively is of fundamental importance to the role, as is the ability to translate a complex environment and sets of relationships into clear plans and actions.
The postholder will also help us develop as a learning organisation through broader stakeholder liaison and feedback. The team offers a positive and developmental environment as well as being involved first-hand in some of the most exciting innovative work health and care services have to offer.
