University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust
UHMBT are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to apply for a newly created acute consultant paediatrician vacancy based at Furness General Hospital, on the doorstep of the Lake District, England's largest National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We are seeking dynamic, motivated and ambitious individuals who will enhance our established and expanding team of consultant paediatricians. You will play a vital role in the delivery of healthcare for Children and Young People across the Morecambe Bay Footprint with the ability to work independently, but within a supportive, forward-thinking and collaborative team.
An area of special interest to complement those already available in the Department is welcomed and can be discussed. We are particularly interested in candidates with an interest in Undergraduate Education or Safeguarding but would support the pursuit of a SPIN module in another specialty as appropriate if required. We would also support candidates in developing a special interest in these areas if that interest is new to them.
Interview date TBC early 2025.
