Well, you know you said it would take a special role for you to move, this is the one Super exciting and super rare, this role ticks all the boxes for you My client is a SAAS web platform provider for premiership football and rugby clubs, horse and motor racing, and every other sport on the planet. The platform handles all membership, season tickets, merchandise, sponsorship, advertising, marketplaces, and customer engagement. It is essentially an eCommerce platform developed by a rapidly scaling top UK tech business. Now, each client is very different, they have differing requirements, data, CRM, and eCommerce integrations. The customisation, user experience, and front-end designs will be different. They’re high profile and have 3rd party integrations and dataflows, and although the customisation and development is agile and well organised it still requires significant testing. The environment is agile, and scrum, working with onsite/hybrid development teams within a Microsoft stack environment. The QA teams are mainly manual testing currently, but that is about to change. With an appetite for automation, this organisation will back you to get it done. Using your existing knowledge of testing and automation, you’ll work with the Head of Development and slowly and meticulously implement automated testing and frameworks. So what does the ideal candidate look like? We’re looking for a Digital / Web / Software / SAAS Software Tester, ideally someone who can lead by example, and someone who has strong manual testing skills and has gained experience of automation. Ideally, with around 3 plus yrs in a testing role, the ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, invested, interested, and have some experience in using automation tools and frameworks, alongside the desire and capability to roll out and implement automation. Additional experience required: • Experience testing web and mobile apps • Experience with using automated testing tools such as Selenium • Familiarity with Automated build systems such as Team City or similar • Familiarity conducting Cross Browser Testing using BrowserStack or similar product • Ability to liaise directly with Product Owner, development teams • Supporting business users during UAT • Experience with project management tools, such as Trello or Asana, or similar • Familiarity with Jira, and TestRail in the testing process or similar • Experience with non-functional, performance, and security testing • Experience with using Git or other version control system • An understanding of C# .NET • Ability to write and execute SQL statements • Experience with using Visual Studio • An understanding of BDD and TDD • Website load testing with JMeter or similar tools So, this role will give you the opportunity to: ● Deliver some amazing web projects for the top sports clubs in the world ● Enable you to implement automation and grow your automation skillset As yet the QA is still relatively small, but it will grow and you’ll be in the driving seat, heading towards a ‘Head of QA’ in the future.
