About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and caring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our school on a supply basis. In this flexible role, you’ll provide essential support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with special educational needs.
Assist in the delivery of tailored lessons, ensuring students can access the curriculum.
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and adapt support as required.
Help to create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Support students with personal care and mobility if necessary.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and succeed.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) would be beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
