Anzuk education is seeking compassionate and adaptable Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEND TAs) to join our flexible bank staff team. The school operates across three sites in Bristol, encompassing Infants, Juniors, Secondary, Sixth Form, and a specialist centre for pupils with challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role:
1. Provide tailored support to pupils with Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism, and Sensory Impairment
2. Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt resources to meet the needs of each pupil
3. Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support the holistic development of pupils
4. Be flexible and adaptable to work across multiple sites and varying classroom settings
What do you need for this Teaching Assistant role?
1. Have experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with severe or profound learning difficulties
2. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with pupils who require additional support
3. Be adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations as needed
4. Possess strong communication and teamwork skills to build positive relationships with school staff and external professionals
5. Hold relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
