Responsibilities:
Follow the tendering process for the full bid lifecycle and contribute to the definition and implementation of winning bid strategies.
Manage the creation of quotations and winning bids, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and satisfy all formal customer requirements, internal approvals, and deadlines. Bids range from £5k to £10m.
Take ownership of the preparation, review, and coordination of compelling bids, and identify any potential issues or risks to a successful bid submission.
Liaise with internal and external parties, partners, and subcontractors to ensure smooth bid preparation.
Organise and chair review meetings, and prepare all relevant materials.
Produce and deliver presentations internally and to customers, up to board level.
Lead the bid team and manage responsibilities across technical, commercial, and financial considerations.
Collate costs and calculate pricing, capturing how our offer delivers innovation, social value, carbon reduction, and waste reduction.
