Job Title : Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm
Facility location: Chester, CT
Summary: Performs cleaning and sanitizing.
Key Responsibilities
* Under minimal supervision, cleans the bathrooms and office area.
* Ensure all bathrooms have sufficient supplies.
* Adapt to new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
* Plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals based on experience and judgment.
* Sanitize all areas of the facilities to ensure cleanliness.
* Vacuum all areas of the facility.
* Knowledge of Whelen procedures and policies.
* Sweep and mop all floors to maintain cleanliness of the facilities and carpet.
* Work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisors.
* Clean all conformance rooms after every use.
* Empty all garbage bins.
Scope
* Advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
* Complete assignments daily.
* Propose improvements to processes.
* Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
Education and Experience
* High School diploma with 5+ years’ experience.
Physical Demands and Abilities
* Able to lift 35 pounds.
* Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
* Able to stand for entire shift.
