Continuous Improvement Expert (GPS Practitioner)

This is a site-based role at Worthing.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lean/Sigma, Continuous Improvement Expert to join our GPS team at Worthing GSK site. The Continuous Improvement Expert will be responsible to deploy the 6 standards of the Glaxo Production System (Process Performance Management, Problem Solving, 5S, Standard Work, CI Culture & Mindset, & Leader Standard Work), effectively across the Worthing site end to end.
As a CI Expert, they will facilitate the embedding of the GPS standardised ways of working and driving the GPS mindset on continuous improvement to support the business strategy of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste.
In this role you will:
* Coach and train leaders on Lean and Six Sigma principles (GSK production system).
* Lead and participate in problem solving using the DMAIC methodology.
* Work closely with the leadership team across the site to support the implementation of the GPS system (GSK internal production system).
* Lead / Facilitate strategic, high impact and high priority improvement projects.
* Act as a change agent in introducing the GSK production system through coaching leaders across the business.
* Act as a Role model and SME (Subject Matter expert) for GPS Lean/Six Sigma skills and behaviours.
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
* Lean expert with proven track record of implementing such methodologies.
* Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience and knowledge.
* Demonstrated track record in the Pharmaceutical or similar Manufacturing industry.
* Change Management with the ability to coach, motivate and mobilise others.
* Lean Sigma certified.
* Has the ability to influence those that are not under their direct management.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Six Sigma Blackbelt certified.
* Pharmaceutical experience.
* Lean certification.
* Project management experience.
* Change management expert.
