Technical Engineer (Start up Support Engineering Coordinator)
Location: Whitehaven
Role
The Start-Up Support Engineering Coordinator reports to the SRP Engineering Lead. They will carry out a managerial (and supervisory) role to deliver an effective service for accurate registration of assets & recording of maintenance history in line with SLP1.06.02.01 and SLP1.06.03.02. Manage Asset registration through effective communication with Project Stakeholders to support effective delivery to key project milestones. Work with Start up Team members to deliver support activities to ensure spares, obsolescence and work history are managed appropriately.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the Maintenance Schedule is appropriate and enables the efficient delivery of business objectives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that assets are registered in line with site standards incorporating all information necessary.
* To ensure compliance to relevant Site Licence Procedures
* Assess compliance with appropriate regulations, standards, policies & practices and carries responsibility for quality of the change control process for the CMMS.
* Monitor and evaluate change control of the Maintenance Schedule (including PMS) to ensure legal compliance and alignment to the safety case (Where applicable).
* Contribute to and deliver maintenance schedule reviews for the facilities.
* Checking of datafor accuracy
* Assist with pattern planning for maintenance activities to ensure efficient use of available resources and compliance.
* Support internal investigations to identify root cause and share learning from experience to ensure best practice and understanding.
* Support governance and assurance on developing an effective maintenance schedule
* Accurately record all breakdown and preventative maintenance information to support Engineering in production of System Health Reporting
* SRP Start-Up KPI reporting
The role holder will be expected to have a working knowledge in the following areas:
* Ability to support off site work locations during Integrated Works Testing
* CMMS experience
* Package planning
* Working knowledge of effective Health & Safety arrangements
* Have nuclear sector experience, including working within large scale projects.
* Sellafield Spares & Obsolescence Process
* Openness and willingness to broaden and enhance knowledge and understanding.
