As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for:
* Contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems associated with Application Engineering.
* Providing technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
* Understanding Surface Pressure Control Technology, Field Layouts, General Arrangement drawings, concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
* Developing Field Layouts/Configuration Layouts and Bills of Material to support client bids.
* Creating definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
* Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributing to technological developments in teams under supervision.
* Working together with Application Engineers in the pursuit of new business.
* Working within a team setting and/or under guidance.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
* Have 5-10 years working experience in designing Surface pressure control.
* Have experience as an Application Engineer.
Desired Characteristics
* AutoCAD, Pro/E working experience.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
