Intro We're looking for a Production Assistant to join the Ffern team. They'll work closely with Ffern Ad Studio’s Creative Producers to support the development of our in-house content. Our ideal candidate is highly organised, eager to learn and excited to contribute within a fast-paced, creatively driven environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in advertising production from a brand perspective. The Production Assistant will sit at the heart of our team, working across multiple projects, with a keen eye for creative quality. Key Responsibilities Production support: Help keep the Ffern Ads Studio running smoothly by assisting with day-to-day production tasks – whether that’s being on set, prepping materials, or lending a general hand where it’s needed. Organised logistics: Support the delivery of creative assets to and from collaborators, making sure everything arrives on time and in the right place. Talent research and tracking: Maintain Ffern’s collaborator list – spot new creatives and creators to collaborate with, update records and make sure the team can access what they need easily. Collaborator communication: Help with briefs and contracts for smaller scale projects, making sure everything is clear and well-documented from the start. Creative collaboration: Support our in-house editor during busy periods – this could include helping to shape ad edits, prepping footage or assisting with simple cutdowns. Requirements Curiosity: Given this is a junior position, we’re looking for an individual who is eager to learn production processes. You’re proactive in offering support to the wider studio and comfortable asking questions along the way. Creative awareness: A desire to keep up to date and aware of creative culture is key for this role. We’re looking for someone with a creative eye to nurture, and a strong sense of what makes content feel cohesive and on-brand. A design background is not necessary for this role, but you should be keen to work in a visually-driven environment and contribute creatively. Organisation and clear communication: This role will work closely with wider producers across projects of varying scale. You’ll feel comfortable juggling multiple moving parts and keeping your responsibilities on track. This could be by helping to solve problems pre-shoot, updating records, and generally supporting the full creative process. Craft and Creativity: You have an interest in Ffern’s creative world – whether that’s storytelling, design or independent makers. You’re excited to contribute to a brand that values sustainability, process and thoughtful craft. Early creative experience: You’re at the beginning of your creative career – whether you’ve studied a related subject, explored creative work through personal projects, internships or cultural initiatives, or taken your first steps into the industry. Benefits Competitive salary: Experience dependent. Healthcare: Private healthcare offered as standard. Holidays: 25 days holiday bank holidays, growing by 1 day per year spent with us. Remote work: All full-time London studio roles are three days a week in the studio, with two days flexible (team lunch at a top Hackney eatery if you come in on the flexible days). Ffern membership: All of our team are members of the Ffern ledger. Team dynamic: Fun, laid-back and sociable team with regular team meals, breakfasts, drinks and outings. Beautiful work environment: We work from a pair of sunlit studio spaces off Columbia road with state of the art kit, MacBooks and breakout spaces. N.B. Ffern is growing fast, with a plethora of exciting projects on the horizon. This means our roles are somewhat flexible. If you don’t tick every box, but feel passionate about what you could bring to the table, please do apply.
