Job summary
A very exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Solutions Architect to join us to support our ambitious plans for our Hertfordshire and West Essex ICS sharing of digital records.
The strategy for HWE ICS describes an integrated and person-centred model of care, designed to meet the needs of our population, delivered in local neighbourhoods. To deliver this strategy, the ICB have identified five key priorities for the next two years covered in the medium-term plan.
This pivotal post within our established ICS Digital Transformation function, predominantly but not exclusively, be responsible for the technical design, scoping, drafting functional requirements specifications and map out our providers technical implementation and clinical application support requirements and will be the subject matter expert for the ICB and our partners in systems technical architecture, defining technical options and approaches predominantly, for a digital care plan solution, with an initial focus on frailty and end of life care.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential
1. Extensive knowledge of technical specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent
2. Strong integration knowledge and experience. Including how the following technology and standards work: HL7v2, batch files uploads and on-demand API (IHE profiles, FHIR).
3. Knowledge and experience with Oracle Cerner HIE or equivalent information sharing software
4. Digital transformation knowledge and experience in an NHS and / or social care context Experience of working at strategic level, able to recognise
5. Experience of leading, managing, developing, influencing and inspiring staff

6. Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive and contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups.
