An opportunity is available to join the marketing team at Simplybiz, which plays a key role in supporting the company’s core objectives. The team is responsible for the creation and deployment of all brand and messaging to the market and to our existing customer base. The role of Junior Designer To support the Marketing Department in the creation and delivery of digital magazines as part of our communications strategy. To assist with wider design requirements as part of the wider communication strategy. Simplybiz is a modern and progressive company and ensures that its employees have the right environment in which to thrive. As such, this role is a hybrid role based at our new, modern, Huddersfield office a minimum of three days a week, with the option for homeworking up to two days a week. Key areas of responsibility Design and creation of artwork for digital magazines in accordance with brand guidelines and scheduling requirements Additional design support to create other marketing materials, such as online banners, sales material and other assets, ensuring designs are within brand guidelines Work as part of the wider marketing team and support colleagues where required The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and, as part of a dynamic team, you will need to be able to perform different tasks as necessitated by the team and wider business. Person specification Strong designs skills and an eye for detail Strong time management skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to multitask effectively in time pressured situations Self-motivated and ability to work independently and within a team Able to understand and interpret briefs Experience and qualifications Experience designing digital and offline communications Proficient in Adobe suite including, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat pro and Microsoft Office.
