A long-standing and welcoming legal practice is seeking a part time Legal Secretary with background in residential property transactions to become part of their warm and approachable team in Gillingham. * Digital dictation and drafting legal documents
* Handling incoming calls and communicating with clients
* Keeping clients informed and scheduling meetings
* Entering data into the Proclaim case management platform
* Opening, maintaining, and closing legal files
* Carrying out property-related searches
* Assisting with property completions and contract exchanges
Ideal candidate profile:
* Energetic and professional team contributor
* Previous experience in a legal secretarial capacity
* Familiarity with handling completions and exchanges is highly advantageous
* Excellent typing speed and strong interpersonal abilities
* Discreet, approachable, and proactive mindset
Salary & Benefits:
* £21,000 – £26,000 - FTE
