Do you have 4+ year's experience of procuring and managing IT software and services contracts within the financial services sector?
If you do, we have an exciting opportunity for you to use your specialised knowledge in procurement, contract law and regulation.
Working for a major player in the City Insurance Market, the procurement department is responsible for the control and oversight of over £70m worth of spend.
The purpose of this role in the wider Procurement Function is to provide operational support to the Procurement Department to; increase compliance with procurement policy and processes in key areas of the business and ensuring effective spend against the balance of risk on the suppliers of services and goods, specifically in the IT Software and service contracts space.
Working autonomously, with one day in the City office and 4 days working from home, you will work within the Procurement Framework, building supplier relationships and getting the best value for money!
Communication both with 3rd party providers and within the business is key, as is strong negotiation skills and the ability to work autonomously.
