At Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, we are looking for an experienced patient safety clinician to work collaboratively in Quality Team to inform and drive improvement in the quality of care across the system. We are looking for a candidate able to offer expert advice to patient safety work and someone who is able to oversee and support work in line with the National Patient Safety Strategy.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions, Reporting to the Head of Patient Safety, the postholder will support the Head of Patient Safety and team with the oversight of development, implementation, and management of quality assurance, safety and improvement across the system. This role includes management of emerging risks and co-ordinating responses to patient safety incidents. You will have a proven track record of consistently achieving high standards and delivering on objectives.
