A leading international law firm is seeking Employment Associate with 2 to 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its Employment & Reward team in Manchester. The Team
The Employment & Reward team is one of the most well-resourced and experienced in the country. The team provides national and international support across multiple jurisdictions and advises a range of clients, from major corporations to financial institutions, on complex employment law matters.
Role & Responsibilities
* Advising clients on employment law matters, including strategic advice, restructuring, redundancy, and tribunal claims.
* Handling complex grievances, whistle-blowing complaints, and senior executive/boardroom issues.
* Supporting clients with employment-related aspects of M&A and outsourcing transactions.
* Engaging in high-value employment disputes, including High Court litigation.
* Collaborating with cross-office teams to provide multi-jurisdictional advice.
* Contributing to client training, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and business development efforts.
Candidate Requirements
* 2 to 7 years PQE in employment law, gained within a commercial law firm.
* Strong technical expertise in employment law and market knowledge.
* Experience handling complex employment matters, including litigation and strategic advice.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Interest in working on international projects and cross-border employment law issues.
