Job title: Area Sales Manager
Job Location: Remote – Stoke & the surrounding areas
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will develop a plan and execute profitable sales growth for the correct products within the assigned area. You will actively manage the territory, travelling daily to meet with and gain knowledge of customer needs, identify opportunities and present these to internal stakeholders to manage. You will balance your time with existing customer development as well as accessing and gaining new customers.
Key Responsibilities :
To gain access to and strengthen relationships with Strategic, Focus, Key, and General Customers by uncovering and developing opportunities for ERIKS’ products and services. The goal is to establish ERIKS as the supplier of choice across all customer segments by consistently delivering value, building trust, and aligning solutions with their specific needs.
1. Manage your geographical territory effectively utilising the business tools provided. (Sales-I, Pipeline and Showpad)
2. You will build and foster strong working relationships with all customers and internal stake holders for the benefit of all involved.
3. Increase share of wallet, customer lifetime value, opportunity conversion rates through positioning of ERIKS' multi product specialism
4. Working with ALL stakeholders within the ERIKS business to deliver the full potential. Drive the working together spirit as part of the team and work with Engineering & Operational teams.
Working Hours:
Mon- Fri: 8.30 - 17.30
Weekly hours: 40
Breaks: 1 hour lunch
ABOUT YOU:
5. A proven history of sales specialism
6. A mature professional approach to the role coupled together with a real desire to WIN.
7. An understanding of the “sales cycle” and the ability to “live out” a customer service mindset in all aspects of the role.
8. Having been previously employed to engage / sell own brand products.
9. Proven track record of developing an account base and growing markets / achieving financial goals.
10. The ability to create solutions to complex customer problems.
11. Operating a Safety-First mindset, nothing is too important it can’t be done safely
12. General knowledge of the UK MRO market.
13. Able to speak & listen to, engage with and present to senior technical / commercial stakeholders within customers at all levels.
14. Full understanding of customer stakeholders and their needs with the ability to speak persuasively.
15. Awareness of the competitor and customer landscape within the region.
16. A collaborative approach, a team player driven to take part, be present and get involved with customer facing challenges.
17. Knowledge of and ability to professionally use Microsoft Applications, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
