Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon Salary: Up to £55k per annum (DOE), relocation package available Location: Hawick Veterinary Practice Job Type: Full-time, 4.5 day week Hours: 1:5 OOH Rota (one week night and 1 weekend in 5; no routine weekend clinic) Your role and responsibilities This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our professional and experienced team here at Hawick Veterinary Practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the established friendly vet, nursing and client care teams to provide excellent patient and client care. Experience in mixed practice is essential as the practice looks after Companion Animal, Farm and Equine patients. There is scope in the role for a bias in one discipline but experience in each to enable OOH participation is required. An RVN is available as back up for all OOH work. Excellent communication skills are required for this role along with a desire to engage in ongoing clinical development of the practice.
