Job Description:
Empowering organisations to achieve their highest potential.
We are specifically looking for professionals with a background in the construction industry. At Alcumus ISOQAR, we draw on our experience, knowledge, and ambition to empower organisations to achieve their highest potential. Through a portfolio of progressive solutions, we work with customers to strengthen their business through ISO certification and ISO training all delivered by our in-house expertise.
As a Lead Auditor, you will support our clients through their audit and assessment process of the ISO standards. You will facilitate and lead the audits, mainly onsite within a geographical region. You will create the post-audit report and guide the client on improvements that need to be made.
You will build long-lasting relationships, learn about their business and products, and create a fantastic long-term partnership.
What that means day to day
The life of a Lead Auditor is both fun and varied, and no two days are the same. You will work with a variety of clients within set regions in the UK across all sectors and verticals to support them through their certification process.
What you’ll need to be successful
* Getting to know our clients and their products
* Hosting opening meetings – help our clients understand their audit process
* Leading on the audit – your subject matter expertise comes into play
* Report writing – finalise the audit and create a report for the client
* Ongoing learning and development – we will train and upskill you to audit against various standards
You don’t have to be a qualified Lead Auditor to join Alcumus! We welcome trainees as well as qualified colleagues.
Ideally, you will be familiar with the core standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and have some exposure to them throughout your career, having been part of the internal or external audit process.
A background in construction is essential.
As this role involves regional and national travel, you should be comfortable with overnight stays and have a full driving licence. You should be a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, and possess positive influencing skills. Thorough and concise report-writing experience is essential to this role.
What you'll get in return
We want you to be able to do your best work here. Below are some of the perks and benefits we offer:
* Enhanced Parental Leave
* Generous annual leave
* Annual Giving Day – an extra day to give back to yourself or your community
* Car Allowance (role specific)
* Cycle-to-work Scheme
Future Planning
* Pension scheme with employer contributions
* Life Assurance – 3X base salary
* Rewards Program – access to discounts and cashback
