The Role: A global manufacturer and exporter of HVAC seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to offer technical and design support to their clients on specialist water cooled, refrigerated, chilled, and heat pump HVAC systems. The role gives you the opportunity to utilise direct global research and development investment of a global manufacturing company. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that they continue to lead the market with their product offering and retain their competitive advantage. You will work in a team environment liaising with M&E consultants and contractors, giving technical advice, designing, planning and quoting on heating and cooling system selections for both commercial and multi-residential projects.
Experience Required: There is flexibility on your experience and background; however, it will be ideal if you have an engineering background and qualifications along with experience within HVAC, covering air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, water cooling, heat pumps, plumbing, and piping. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of chilled water cooling, ventilation, and heat pump solutions and have experience performing mathematical calculations such as heat loss, heat gain, load, pressure, psychometric, and volumetric.

The Package: Initial indications by the client are a salary range of between £40,000 and £50,000 with a £4k bonus depending on your level of experience and suitability for the role.
