Summary
The Customer Order Management Analyst Apprentice role is a developmental position within the Customer Order Management Team. During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week, the working hours are 37.5 per week. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a Business administrator (level 3) and have the opportunity to progress to Business Analyst (level 4).

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Working under the guidance of the Customer Account Manager, the Apprentice will be involved with all aspects of order management and customer interface within the plant.
* Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Score Cards for review on a monthly and quarterly basis.
* Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel and providing reports to worldwide customers.
* Researching various attributes of the plant using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various departments in the creation of reports when required.
* Encouraged to get involved with all other departments at the plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization.
* Supporting Customer visits to the Daventry site, including preparing rooms, PPE and documentation.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Educated to GCSE level including Maths & English A-C/9 – 4 or equivalent.
* Computer literacy - proficient knowledge of Windows, in particular Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software packages.
* Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritisation skills, proactive attitude
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Course contents
* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
* Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation. Demonstrates ability to influence and challenge appropriately. Becomes a role model to peers and team members, developing coaching skills as they gain area knowledge.

Your training plan
* The apprentice will be onsite full time, and will complete learning online via seminars etc.
